Waynesboro Public Schools provide free meals for the 2026-27 school year

Waynesboro Public Schools will offer free, healthy breakfast and lunch to all students every day this school year. Waynesboro Public Schools nutrition supervisor Kelly Shomo said food insecurity is a major issue in the area. She says a large percentage of students qualify for free or reduced-price meals, making this program critical.
